Golfs largest search engine! This golf directory has the largest database of golf tips, golf equipment, golf stores, golf manufacturers, golf links.
By Anonymous The web site, Golfpackage.com, serves as a catch-all portal for golf enthusiasts looking for facilities and services provided by some of Golf's most famous names.
"The name is so generic that we've been experiencing traffic on the domain for years before we actually decided to build a business model and a site to go with it," says Mike Pratt, the site manager. "Though our marketing campaign is now officially under way, traffic to the site has been admirable, to say the least, from people just 'guessing' there must be a site called 'Golfpackage.com.'"
Golfpackage.com's business plan calls for development of a database of links to sites for premium golf facilities and service providers, accessible to Golfpackage.com's visitors with one or two clicks.
"The ability to give away a Donald Ross package at Pinehurst is a great boost for us," says Pratt. "We'd like to have every golfer in the world visit our site just for the chance to get that package. But the truth is, visiting the properties of any of our partners is a 'win' in itself."

By Anonymous July 14, 2004 -- As summer goes by, thoughts turn to outdoor recreation. For many Americans that mean hitting the fairways and enjoying a few rounds of golf. With the cost of living on the rise a round at the links can be felt in the wallet. Tee Time Golf, Inc has developed a golf pass that allows users to enjoy over 380 golf courses at a significant savings. Tee Time Golf Pass has been developing passes for over five years. From a regional discount book a golf pass book soon took shape gaining golf course in many eastern states. In the past several years, Tee Time Golf used discounting experience to expand into the southern states and to develop a discount travel book.
The Tee Time Golf pass is designed to be used easily. The user simply calls for a tee time in advance and identifies himself as a Tee Time Golf pass holder. Many courses offer free greens fee with the rental of a cart or allow a player to play for free with a paid green fee. Tee Time Golf Passes are valid all year around and expire December 31.
In a game that brings friends together the word quickly spread. Jack Chmielewski of Arlington, Va. proclaimed that "Tee Time paid for itself the first week I had it..." Many golfers find that they can save as on average ten to thirty dollars every time that they tee it up.
