Crown Golf Properties Golf Rewards Program Kick Off is a success in Florida: Golf Rewards Program in Florida

GLENVIEW, IL April 18, 2004--Northdale Golf and Tennis Club, Lansbrook Golf Club, Bardmoor Golf Club and Highlands Reserve Golf Club have just launched Crown Golf Properties’ CrownClub rewards program in Tampa and Orlando, Fla. Local area residents who have registered for the free loyalty program will receive preferred rates immediately and will earn points for each round played as well as for golf shop and food/beverage purchases. Reward points accrue to earn CrownRewards certificates, which can be redeemed for free golf or 50%-off golf rates at participating Crown Golf courses. CrownClub members will also receive special offers and invitations to member-only events and tournaments.

“Although there are a few golf loyalty programs nationwide, we believe our technologically-advanced and user-friendly program is the only one of its kind in the area,” explained Crown Vice President of Development Matt McIntee. “Crown Golf is committed to providing a top quality and memorable golf experience to our golfers, from updating the courses and clubhouse facilities to outstanding customer service. This exciting rewards program is just one more of the amenities we provide our loyal golfers,” added McIntee.

Crown Golf Properties, a Glenview, Ill.-based golf management corporation, owns and operates five Florida golf courses: Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club and The Bayou Club in Largo, Lansbrook Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Northdale Golf and Tennis Club in Tampa and Highlands Reserve in Orlando.

CrownClub members receive a card that can be swiped for each purchase so points accrue automatically into their account. Once 500 points have been collected, a certificate is mailed out for a 50%-off round of golf. At the 1,000 point mark, a free round of golf certificate is automatically mailed. Members earn 50 points for each 9-hole or twilight round, 100 points for each 18-hole round and one point per dollar spent on qualifying golf shop and food and beverage purchases. Upon registration each CrownClub member also receives a special “Instant Reward,” a two-for-one golf certificate.
